Brad and Mike Lajoie began Arctic Comic Con 6 years ago. Brad owns Erickson Unlimited which is a premier event promotion company in Alaska. He’s been putting on concerts all over Alaska since 2008 with such talent as Darius Rucker, Jake Owen, Lil Wayne, Tracy Morgan, Milky Chance, Salt N Peppa, The I Love The 90’s Tour and many more. He is also the co-owner of the Downtown Anchorage Bar/Restaurant The Broken Blender; as well as, a production company called Northern Lights Sound and Video. Brad currently serves on the board of the Anchorage Downtown Partnership. As an on-air personality Brad can be heard weekday mornings on 94/7 Alternative Anchorage.
Mike Lajoie

Born in Massachusetts and raised in South Florida, Mike is a life-long comic enthusiast, stand up comedian and radio personality. He hosted the first Comic Cons in Alaska in the mid 1990’s featuring guests like Jeph Loeb, Steve Skroce, Tim Sale and Scott Lobdell. His passion for the industry is what led him to co-found Arctic Comic Con with his partner and morning radio show host Brad Erickson. Arctic Comic Con is the direct result of a lifetime of admiration for comics and their longstanding place in our culture. You can’t beat the passion, positivity and inclusivity of a Comic Con and all of the fandoms they represent.

Tony is a highly experienced pop culture event professional with over 25 years of experience. He has spent the past 15 years as a booking agent, representing talent from all areas of the entertainment industry. Tony is also a long-time wrestling collector and archivist, having With a passion for entertainment and a commitment to preserving its rich history, Tony has become a respected figure in the wrestling community and a go-to resource for collectors and historians. This year, he opened the Wrestling Guy Store PHX, the only all Professional Wrestling Themed retail store in Phoenix, Arizona.spent the past 20 years cataloguing and preserving all known wrestling trading cards on his website, Wrestlingtradingcards.com.Tony’s expertise and dedication to the entertainment industry have led him to become the Arctic Comic Con Celebrity Guest Relations, where he brings his wealth of experience and knowledge to help ensure that the event delivers a world-class experience for attendees and guests alike. Tony is a devoted husband to his wife Jana Vela and proud father to his daughter Deborah and son Anthony.
Kristin George
Event Coordinator
Kristin has been on the ACCA team for 4 years. She comes with a background in event logistics and management. She has run events and shows across Alaska and the United States including Clare to Clare, Fashion for a Cause and Anchorage Mayor’s Charity Ball. In her daytime career, Kristin is the Executive Director of the American Heart Association as well as Event Coordinator for Erickson Unlimited. In her spare time, Kristin manages appearances for Miss Alaska USA and Miss Alaska Teen USA. Kristin has been honored with 2 Gold Pan nominations, a Heart of Alaska nomination, in 2019 was named Top 40 under 40 and in 2022 she was named Lady Trapper of the Fur Rendezvous Festival for her community service. She lives in Anchorage with her traveling chef husband and her teenage son.

Dawn Monetathchi is a born and raised Alaskan. After living in rural Oklahoma for many years, she and her plane mechanic husband call New Jersey home. But Dawn’s heart is still in Alaska and she is excited to be part of the Arctic Comic Con team. She has a passion for community and volunteering. She has two degrees, medical billing, and administration, as well, this year she finished her accounting degree. Dawn is of the house of Slytherin and when you meet her feel free to ask her all the Harry Potter trivia you would like.
Amy Carter

Born in Los Angeles and raised in Phoenix, Amy has raised her family here in beautiful Alaska for nearly 30 years. She has been a bartender for the past 8 years, and recently accepted a promotion to Assistant General Manager at the world famous Chilkoot Charlie’s. “Koots.” With a passion for live music and comedy Amy has been the ticketing director with Erickson Unlimited for 7 years and with ACC for 3 years. “Goonies Never Die” and “May the Schwartz be with you!”Â
