- The first point of judging will take place on stage. The second point will take place post Competitive Walk-On, in a line, near the stage. The judges will come to contestants to ask more questions as they see fit.
Awards Available to win:
- Best in Show:
This award will be bestowed to whoever shows the best and most accurate build. From fabric, to armor, to even led’s. We’re looking for the master of cosplay. - 2nd Runner Up:
Even the best cosplayer has a close competitor. This award goes to those who have shown clear capability to compete against the very best. - 3rd Runner Up:
Third place goes to the cosplayer still in the works but showing great promise. - Crowd Favorite:
As you’d expect, we always allow the crowd to have a pick through cheers. - Best Sewing:
This award will be the best overall sewing technique and fabric skill. - Best Armor:
The focus for this award goes to the best over-all mixed medium hand crafted builds.

What are you being scored on?
Creativity:
Here the judges will see if you use multiple mediums. If you were able to work with what you had well, and even how unique your choices were.
Execution:
The judges will be looking for how accurately you crafter your costume, and how much attention to detail was given.
Stage Presence:
The judges will be scoring points for those who really embody their character and give off a great vibe on stage. Example: Instead of standing on the X, try doing a gentle spin to show off a dress, or a fun pose your character does.
